About Onyx aka Meg
Onyx has lots of enduring expressions and loves to go on excursions. She is well-behaved and relaxed in situations such as parks, rivers, hikes, big stores running errands, pets stores – you name it; she is a champ. Every once in a while, she gets the Zoomies for about 2 minutes in the yard, then calms down. She gallops like a horse and pounces on a ball like a fox. Meg has the silliest wagging tail and swagger when she walks. Meg is about 2 yrs old and came under PACA’s wing when her owner relinquished her to our vet stating he did not want her or her brother Gryph. But now she is flourishing and has love in her heart. She loves, loves, loves other dogs. Meg likes kids, adults and other dogs at adoption events. She is a large dog weighs about 80 pounds. She has a very unusual coat with tan tips on her black fur. We did a DNA test and it came up with a very unusual mix of breeds of Pit bull, Presa Canario, and Caucasian Shepherd. Regardless Onyx is a great dog and a joy to take places with you.
We have adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11a-2pm at 6300 San Mateo (along the grass next to Academy Rd) in the southern end of the Spouts Market parking lot volunteer staffing/weather permitting. We can also make arrangements for a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with approved applications.
