About Nala

Nala is a young, incredibly smart mama dog who survived on her own in Pecos, raising eight puppies without a home. Two kind women began feeding Nala and her pups, and although she was shy, she showed she was willing to trust and accept help. Now Nala is loving the good life in a caring foster home.

At our adoption event this past Saturday, Nala showed just how much potential she has. Though a little reserved at first, she quickly learned that people mean kindness—approaching for gentle pets and beginning to relax more and more as the day went on. She seems to like children.

Nala is ready for her next chapter—a safe, loving home where she can continue to build trust and finally be cared for the way she’s always deserved.

If you’re interested in meeting Nala, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot.
