PACA dog adoption events are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month in the south parking lot of Sprouts Market at the corner of San Mateo Blvd and Academy NE, Albuquerque (along the grass next to Academy Road):

Found a dog or need to re-home a dog?
If you have found a cat or dog, or need to re-home a cat or dog, please note we are a foster-based organization and do not have the ability to take a dog from you unless we have an available foster home that is compatible with the dog. However, we can work with you to find the dog a new home while you foster the dog in your home.
We do NOT take dogs with aggressive behavior towards people or severe aggression towards other dogs.
Please fill out the Owner Surrender/ Found Dog Form and tell us the following about the dog you found or need to re-home in the comments section:
- Why are you needing to re-home the dog?
- Approximate age and size of dog.
- How does the dog act? Fearful, friendly, good with other pets, etc?
- Vet care dog has received while in your care or any medical concerns.
- Can you keep the dog until it finds a home? We do not know how long this will be and cannot guarantee a time frame.
- Are you willing to take this dog to the vet for spay/neuter and medical care?

People’s Anti Cruelty Association / Albuquerque Animal Rescue, a no-kill rescue group, was founded in 1973. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehouse homeless dogs and cats.
