About Maggie

Maggie is an adorable,  9-month-old border collie mix who brings lots of love and intelligence. She’s a sweet little puppy who learns quickly and is eager to please. Already crate trained and house trained, Maggie knows how to sit and is making great progress with stay and come commands. She walks nicely but still has some puppy behaviors to work out (pulling and sometimes grabbing the leash) . She loves to play fetch with a tennis ball and has so much fun chasing a soft Frisbee. . Maggie has had a thorough vet check, is fully vaccinated, and is on heartworm medication to keep her healthy. She doesn’t seem to get along with cats, which is why she’s looking for a new home. She’s had limited interactions with other dogs, but when she does meet them, she’s generally friendly after some initial barking and playful puppy behavior.

If you’re interested in meeting Maggie, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot. Alternatively, we can arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with a completed application.

The $250 adoption fee covers all vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and heartworm/tick-borne illness testing.
