We match homeless, deserving cats and dogs with families like yours.

We have a companion animal for your family! We listen to your needs and desires in a companion animal.  Since we are a foster-based rescue, we know our dogs and cats personalities. We can suggest any compatible adoptable cats or dogs in our care.  We have a high success rate with our adoptions.  This is partially due to our application process where we strive to connect with our adopters and suggest an animal for their lifestyle. We also allow our adopters animals meet the potential new family member to set up chances for success. We support or animals and offer support for them for life if the need arises.

Gryph

Gryph is a big goofy guy who would love to have a family of his own. He will keep you laughing at his silliness. Gryph loves being part of the action,  loves to play and do zoomies. He is very smart and catches on quickly. He loves performing tricks and putting his own spin on each one, making them his own. Gryph also loves to hang out with his humans in the downtime.  Gryph has a “Bob Hope” nose that curves upwards that gives him a comical look.  He loves his sister Onyx.  Both were relinquished by their previous owner…

Onyx aka Meg

Onyx has lots of enduring expressions and loves to go on excursions. She is well-behaved and relaxed in situations  such as parks, rivers, hikes, big stores running errands, pets stores – you name it; she is a champ. Every once in a while, she gets the Zoomies for about 2 minutes in the yard, then calms down. She gallops like a horse and pounces on a ball like a fox. Meg has the silliest wagging tail and swagger when she walks. Meg is about 2 yrs old and came under PACA’s wing when her owner relinquished her to our vet…

Humphrey “Boomer” Bogart

Hi, my name is Humphrey ‘Boomer’ Bogart, named by my foster family for a movie actor who they believe I bear a close resemblance to. (If you want to rename me that’s ok too.) Please don’t believe the hype about pit bulls. My foster family have noticed that I must have come from a loving family though, unfortunately, that family has not claimed me yet. I was wearing three collars, but no tags, and no chip when I came to my foster family, begging, for two days, for them to notice and feed and love me. I love to play,…

Tanny

Tanny is a gentle giant, about 80 pounds currently but still needs to gain weight. He was found as a stray and taken to a local shelter and placed into a run with two other large dogs. He stopped eating there and a wonderful woman who was following his story just knew she had to save him. She then contacted us as a foster to now find his forever home. Tanny is excellent on the leash, house trained, crate trained and very eager to please. He likes to run and play with other dogs and share space with his human…
